Albi Wellness: Helping Houstonians Take Back Their Health, One Session at a Time

By Tom McKeown

In a quiet corner of Houston, a revolution in wellness is underway. Albi Wellness, founded by Tarek Salti, is not your average health studio—it’s a sanctuary for regeneration, rooted in personal experience and driven by cutting-edge technology.

“I founded Albi two years ago, born out of my own health crisis,” says Tarek. After battling hypothyroidism, autoimmune issues, and heavy metal poisoning, he found little relief through conventional medicine. This struggle sparked a journey of discovery and healing, eventually leading him to build the kind of space he wished had existed when he was at his lowest.

Today, Albi offers over a dozen state-of-the-art therapies. From hard shell hyperbaric oxygen therapy to red light photobiomodulation, infrared sauna with cold plunge, and PEMF (pulsed electromagnetic field) therapy, each modality is designed to work synergistically. “All of these therapies work on a different level—whether it’s nervous system regulation with vibroacoustic sound therapy, or cellular health with PEMF or oxygen therapy like hyperbarics,” Tarek explains.

But it’s not just about the technology—it’s about philosophy. Albi’s mission is to empower individuals to take ownership of their health. “We give the power to the client,” says Tarek. Every visitor gets access to self-booking, a personalized app, and a private space that feels more like a retreat than a clinic. “This is their home away from home to heal, regenerate, and take charge of their health.”

“Do something for your health every single day. Set aside that time—30 minutes, one hour. That’s where the magic happens.”

Albi serves a wide range of people—from CEOs, athletes, and high performers to those recovering from injuries, illness, or chronic fatigue. The key, Tarek believes, is education. “Many of our clients don’t even know what vitality feels like anymore—they’ve been stuck at a certain level for so long that it becomes their normal,” he explains. “Our job is to show them what’s possible.”

One of the biggest challenges Albi faces is consistency. “Some clients feel amazing right after one session, but the real transformation happens through regular, ongoing use,” Tarek says. For example, lymphatic drainage through the Flowpresso suit yields immediate benefits, but weekly sessions over a few months can radically improve the immune system and overall health.

“Your response to stress improves dramatically when your body learns to rest deeply and regularly.”

While red light therapy, sauna/cold plunge, and hyperbarics are some of the most in-demand services, PEMF therapy is often the most misunderstood. “It’s magnetic energy passing through a coil—there are no electrodes touching you, and people wonder if it even works. But they feel it. You can see it on their faces after a session.”

Tarek’s vision for Albi Wellness is about more than just services—it’s about shifting the conversation around longevity. “Remain curious about your health. Don’t wait until you get sick. Stay ahead of the curve.”

“If you feel good on the inside, your outside world starts to become a reflection of that.”

For Houstonians ready to take the next step in their wellness journey, Albi is waiting—with open doors and a quiet, powerful promise: healing begins with you.
