Caren Heilman, MS, LCSW, works with individuals, couples, and families experiencing anxiety, depression, life changes, relationship struggles, and self-doubt. Drawing on her decade of experience supporting children, adolescents, young adults, and caregivers at Dell Children’s Hospital, Caren brings heartfelt empathy and a systems-informed lens to therapy. She integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), and the Gottman Method to help clients build insight, strengthen communication, and cultivate lasting personal and relational growth.
Tammy Duhaime, MS, LPC, NCC, offers compassionate, collaborative therapy for individuals working through anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, PTSD, and relationship challenges. She draws from EMDR, Narrative Therapy, ACT, and CBT to support healing and growth. Tammy creates an empathetic, nonjudgmental space where clients can explore their stories, reconnect with their values, and build emotional resilience.
Royal Kelly, LMSW, supports individuals, adolescents, and caregivers in navigating stress, transitions, and personal growth. Drawing from her training in Somatic Experiencing® and Child-Centered Play Therapy, she brings a gentle, attuned presence to her work, helping clients reconnect with their bodies, emotions, and inner resilience. Royal creates a thoughtful, grounding space where clients can explore their experiences and develop healthier patterns of relating to themselves and others.
Mike Trimborn, MA, LPC-A, NCC, is EMDR trained and uses Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and Coherence Therapy to support individuals and couples through grief, burnout, men’s issues, LGBTQ+ experiences, and relationship challenges. Drawing from both clinical expertise and a 23-year background in the tech industry, Mike is especially attuned to the needs of Austin’s fast-paced professional community.
An Inclusive, Personalized Approach to Wellness
Across the board, the team at Westlake Psychotherapy believes that healing is not a one-size-fits-all process. That’s why their work integrates proven modalities such as EMDR, AEDP, IFS, EFT, mindfulness practices, and somatic techniques — tailored to the unique needs and goals of each client.
Clients often arrive at the practice feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, or uncertain, but leave sessions with greater clarity, emotional regulation, and the tools needed to foster meaningful, lasting change.
